2013揆巳蛇年即將到來，說英文故事這麼多年來，在華人最濃厚節慶的中國農曆新年還沒說過與主題有關的繪本
2012年5、6月時在 "麥克網路書店" 看到: Dragon Dance 一看到紅通通的插圖就將我吸引住., 這個紅色系正是我們新年的色彩.,
無論心情很好時或很 Down時.,看到這美麗的色調就讓我心情飛耀了。由於時代的進步，都市化的建設．小時候鄉下的年節氣氛很難在現。
我希望藉在這即將到來的新年為孩子們說在我小時後如何來迎接農曆新年，我們最期待的年夜團圓飯都吃些什麼？迎春的佳節我們都有些甚麼活動。
這熱鬧的氣氛在這首新年好，來個蛇來好運轉～
